Since it's slow right now on the forum, I figured I would ask where yall are fishing.

So let's have it.

I will be either doing Medina Lake or LBL, with a slight possibility of Decker. This will be Friday.

Not going to make it out this week. Managed three straight weekends (a new 2012 PB!). Have to fly to Florida on Sunday so Saturday will be a honey-do day and then I don't get back until the following Saturday so next weekend will be out too. Hope to see some great catches.

Gonna be fishin this weekend. However, I will be after the green trash fish in East Texas.

I'll probably get out Sunday but I'm not sure where yet.

I'll be fishing this Sunday. Either LBL or Travis.

Man, you guys are rough.. My local swim is still too low to fish for the more noble carp. Gotta do what you gotta do to catch whatever.

My lake is 55 feet low. Luckily, its a deep a$$ lake! I have a really nice looking spot with 25' water.

Looks like Chad, Mike, and I will be fishing LBL all weekend (Friday through Sunday) to prepare for ATC.

I'm so down to fish Medina the week we can't fish LBL. Its about time we come south to fish with our boy Ted for a change lol.

As I had posted earlier, I went to East Texas and went after some bass. Hopefully, I will not be thought too unkindly of by my carp fishing brethren.. Had a pretty good trip for the limited time that I had to fish. Wind was the issue along with some fairly cold temps. Yesterday afternoon, my son and I fished for about 3 hours and caught 18 with the smallest being about 2 pounds and the largest just over 6. Here is a pic of my largest of the trip at 5.2 pounds.

Removed their entrails and fed them to the racoons....Not!!!
CPR'd them for later fly fishing.

Brian, here is a better pic of the lake. It is a 60-70 acre private lake east of the thriving metropolis of mineola.

Beautiful lake. I was in Whitehouse, near Tyler. My first time and it is some beautiful country up there. I saw many deer on the road side in the evenings. The grass was still lush and green. The hills made me homesick. Just wish I can do some carp fishing up there soon. Any takers?
