I think the Renaissance near Love Field is in a shady neighborhood...

Your wife and daughters certainly won't be walking anywhere from there.

If you want them to have easy access to fun stuff to do while you are in class, you might consider staying Downtown or in Victory Park or Uptown

DO NOT stay near Love Field. I hate driving to there even with all the doors locked and the windows rolled up. You will taint your entire experience with Dallas by staying there.

I don't care how cheap the hotel is, don't. I'm fearless, I go fishing at night by myself, and I hate driving through there in broad daylight.

I've lived in the Love Field area for 20 years and never had a problem.

The Renaissance is NOT in the Love Field area.

Yeah that's not bad. I guess I was thinking of the one right across the street from Love Field... Whatever hotel that is

Something Downtown on Main St would still be a little better for the womens, but certainly pricier.

The hotel at Love Field used to be a Holliday inn Express not sure now as it has been a few years since I stayed there.
