It is probably about 2.5 - 3 miles to Love Field for there.

if your looking for chick retail stores, just drive up Preston Road. they will drain your pockets quick. if you want a cool restaurant to go eat at, try the one at the top of the Reunion Tower that rotates.

Shopping at North park will be very pricy, but a good place for the women. I'd also say give the Galleria a try. As far as dining I'd say Papa's Bros Steaks and Bob's Steak and Chop House are basically 1a and 1b. Both are fantastic.

Dallas SUKS! Do yourself a favor and go over to Ft Worth for a day. It's WAY better. Sundance Square has free parking, lots of shops, great restaurants, and a much better feel. Make reservations at the Reata. Eat on the roof if it's nice out. It's only about a 40-minute drive and WELL worth it.

I like Ft. Worth and all, but the entertainment possibilities there are not even close to what Dallas has to offer.

The Renaissance is not a bad place to stay...it is just south of Papa Brothers Steakhouse....Make sure you try this place.

you also might be able to find some good crawfish that time of the year.
