I had a guy give me a 10" and 12" hydraulic jackplate was thinking about mounting one of them on my 19' champ with a 200 merc. Any comments or concerns.

I have been running one on a Skeeter 200ZX since 1994 and find it to do a good job. I was unaware they made 2 sizes, so mine must be the 12" model. Due to the motion (up and in or down and out) it does create a issue adding a shallow water anchor or to add SI transducer. I run a MK talon and placed the adaptor plate between the motor and paralift, which means my talon with move with the jackplate. Makes it helpful backing in the garage!

ran the 12 inch on a 93 Ranger 481.
if you use it a lot the bushings and pivot bolts wear pretty bad.
or at least they did back then.
had to have all the holes drilled out oversize and install new bolts and bushings.

I would like to try one on my Xpress but cant afford one just to see if it makes enough differance in performance to justify the price.

If you would be interested in parting with one of those I would like to try the ten inch if you would sell it cheap.
