I have been rescheduling most of my white bass guide trips the past two weeks due to slow fishing. The fish have been there, but they’re just not cooperating in the muddy water… Until today!! I called up one of my fishing buddies, and we went out scouting. They were eating like crazy!! We caught them on everything from road runners to ˝ oz slabs. We kept 40 whites with about 100 throw backs!

we caught most of them in 2 to 6 ft on sand bars. water temp 60

I was fishing the north end of lake livingston where it hits the river.
