Farm trout always have albinos in the mix. In the wild they get eaten at a young age. After release in some rivers, you will see predator birds diving and grabbing the easy to spot albino trout while you are fishing.

That is a golden trout. Crystal Lake Hatchery in Missouri farms these trout as well there rainbows. TPWD gets there trout from this hatchery each fall.
The albino rainbows are called palomino trout there are some nice ones in broken bow. As previously stated they are quickly grabbed by fish eagles cause they are easy to spot but they are not golden trout but good eating. Nice catch:)
It is a golden rainbow trout, not a golden trout. Goldens are native to the Kern River in California. They have deep blue parr marks, bright red around their head and gills and spots that thicken towards the tail. Just a heads up so you don't tell some serious trout guys one day that you caught a golden trout in Texas, they would laugh at you.
