Thought I would check water level in my batteries (9 months old). Always been told to fill with distilled water. Tried to find info about to do or not to do. e-how said not to and don't open ports because it could void warranty. Some holes seem low to me. Can't seem to find anything on the net about EverStart. Anybody have knowledge about this?

Most Everstart Marine batteries are made by JCI, the makers of Interstates. I would take the caps off, check and add water if necessary. Traditionally, Interstates are a "thirsty" battery.

Use distilled and fill as needed. Generally some water evaporates when you charge.
