How long are they?

They are 2" long

i had to go check some of these out at wulf outdoors in athens. they are very high quality baits. the toughness of the plastic seems to make the tail go nuts with any small movement.

When the fish start liking a smaller profile bait, after the fry hatch, just tear off about a half an inch from the tail. Bingo...you got yourself a dangerous bait.

I've tried looking for them on Wulf Outdoor's website but can't find them. Can you point me in the right direction?

I received some of all ten colors yesterday from Lane. My first impression was how good looking the baits were. Then after further inspection (and sticking a couple on jig heads), I found out how tough these baits are. It appears that Lane has hit the perfect combo of durability plus action. It was very interesting how you could hold one between your fingers and with every heart beat, the tail vibrates....big time. I plan on finding out tomorrow if the deep crappie on RR think they're as good as I do.

i too recieved mine today, they look good, I plan on trying them out tomorrow on Waco. Mr. Skinner, if you don't mind me asking what color jig head are you using? I normaly go with unpainted or chartruese in 1/16 oz.

I stopped painting jig heads immediately after the "new" wore off my crappie fishing about umpteen years ago, and have never looked back. Some might say that it makes a difference, but to me it doesn't. Besides, I loose so many jig heads that I would be on a constant 'paint high' if I painted them.

BTW Lane; these things do catch fish. So far my favorites are grn/chart, all chart, blu/wht and blk/chart. Was at RR yesterday and took minnows too. Final score was minnows - 0, Lights Out - 27.

Guy, that's really awesome! I was hoping you would wear them out. I've never fished RR, so I was curious to see which color you would go with on that lake.

The tail thing is cool. And man are these things tough. I ordered 500 and i've got a feeling they are going to last a while....
