You'll also want to use a circle hook because your bait will drag across the bottom until it drifts out far enough to reach the depth you set the ballon.

chikenfrie Extreme Angler Registered: 02/11/09 Posts: 2089 Loc: Double Oak	I use a 3-way rigged with a 3-5 oz. sinker and put my balloon to my leader with a life savor float it out to the depths till my life savor melts away. Sit back and wait for a bite with a cold barley pop. Braided line should work better with this because mono will stretch to much on a hook set. _________________________

Only I'll use a 1 oz weight and then I'll blow the ballon up big so it'll get out there alot faster and with a lot less wind.
