If you like to fry your own tortilla chips, taco shells, etc. you can get the thin restaurant-type at Dallas Tortilla Factory on 309 Marquis Ave. in Dallas (off 35 south to the west). We have bought them there for many years and is the only place we have found thin corn tortillas that are not available in grocery stores. We make a trip down there a couple of times a year and buy two bags (10 doz. in each one I think) for around $3 a bag. Freeze the bag and take out as needed. They also make excellent tamales that are the best store bought type I've found in this area. They sometimes have day old ones in a refrigerator cabinet in the corner that are less than the fresh ones.
