Just to clear the air here.

I have noticed statements going around the internet from guides and some other sources.

The fish in these pics were caught in 30-40 minute periods. I catch my fish in bunches and dont need to drive around all day with them in the livewell. I even threw a bunch of surelife in the livewells during that 30 mins.

Easy fellas. Dan has done his homework. Dan also has developed a relationship with a few Falcon regulars who look beyond his demographics and see the MAN. He shares a little of that wisdom with a few folks, including his local contacts. In turn, they share a little with Dan. Everyone benefits.

Dan Halen is a close personal friend of mine. For a very simple reason. If the bullscat hits the fan and Dan is there and your friend, when everyone else has left the room, Dan will be the last man beside you. He'll also be asking, "which one you want me to take first"

Dan doesn't lie. Dan doesn't betray his friends. . And Dan Halen (Jersey Dan) could care less if we like him or not. Though he's a gent well worth liking.

Dan would NEVER do anything to hurt the fishery that Falcon Lake is. Look at his most recent photos and see how "fresh" those fish are.

Many (including myself) are guilty of having toted a few big fish around Falcon in livewells for a photo op. Dan was as well on his first couple big fish down there. Only to have the print show a stressed, white fish with pink fins and gills. A fish that died within hours of its release. If not minutes.

Go look at Dan's most recent photos and I'm certain you will see what I'm talking about. Healthy, green fish without the tell-tale signs of stress, IMO.

I could not have said it better myself fouz. I would walk to hell and slap the devil for Dan, as I know he would do the same for me. Congrats Dan on the heavy stringers.
