When tying today I noticed my thread kept breaking right at the end of the bobbin. I always try to keep thread flowing through but maybe I'm not. Does the ceramic tip or whatever crack and cause it to cut?

It's possible.. If it has been dropped it could form a small crack. You might take a q-tip and rub around the end of your bobbin and see if it might snag on something. Also size of tying thread makes a difference.. Make a few wraps around your hook and then intentionally pull until it breaks. At least you will find how much pressure your thread will take. Also everyone breaks thread.... Hope this helps.

Turns out the bobbin has a sharp place inside the opening that was snagging the line and cutting it.

You may wanna check your bobbin. I use a ceramic tip also but never had that problem. I use 210 though

Thanks guys. I needed another "excuse" to place another order. But why waste the money on shipping just some thread, guess I'll have to pick out some more stuff.
