Will my YAMAHA Pro Series 14 1/2 x 25 M Stainles Steel 3 blade prop work on a 2008 Mercury XR6 150 HP engine. The reason I ask is because I have also seen these props listed as:
YAMAHA/MERCURY Pro /Series. Thanks for any info

Probably gonna need a different hub kit if it could, and I dunno about turning a 25 with a 150, anyway. This should really be in the Boats&Motors section. Steve Glenn is always kind enough to answer questions just like yours. I doubt he'll be on right now, but he'll be at his shop from about 8 til noon, tomorrow.

I'll go ahead and leave this here for now as you'll get more views.

yes, the splines will match up, you will need the proper mercury thrust washer and a new lock nut while you are aat it is a good idea.

the 25 should be fine as long as the boat is 18.5 or shorter.

that prop ran well on my sx185

Thanks for the information on using this prop on my XR6. I will try to purchase the proper nut and thrust washer so this prop can be used as a back-up. I am running a smaller Gambler Outlaw so it should be OK for this hull.

yep.. good prop for that engine!

it will require the old turbo style thrust washer or i can modify the yamaha thrust washer, and you need a 12.00 adapter that sits on the hub so you can use the merc. lock ring and prop nut.

great combo for you!!!

holler at me if i can help ya.
