I have an older Minn Kota TM that is 5 speed can it be modified to a foot control? I would like to be able to adjust the speed with my foot and not just have 1-5 often I find 2 is to fast and 1 is to slow. Any ideas?

I'm assuming you're talking about a hand controlled unit and modifiying it to foot control variable. Would take some a"work" and lots of parts. Probably be less expensive to purchase a variable speed foot control.
