I am considering going on a 36 hr tuna trip on one of the party boats in Galveston this spring. Has anyone been before that could give me some feedback on it? Good and the bad. Just want to make sure before I drop $350+ a head on it.
Spend the extra money on the Big E out of Freeport or the Scat Cat at Fishermans Landing.
The Galveston boats overload their trips ... 40 on the Capt John and 49 on the New Buccaneer. Thats just too many people crowded on those boats for a 36 hr trip

get 4 people together, and go to Venice and run offshore in a center console boat... fish until your arms fall off.. then come back in with a boatload of tuna... then use your nighttime to go play in the casinos
