I never take all my tackle with me. I have a two sided Plano box that I put in my pocket. If walking the creek I use my small Plano box and a backpack. It holds more than enough gear for a day on the water. No need to carry all the tackle you own to go fishing. Get a fanny pack or a backpack and keep your stuff on your person. Sorry to hear about your missing gear. Nothing I hate more than a crook.

There's nothing worse than theives. When they steal fishing and hunting gear they are stealing your source of happiness. I heard a story from a guy in college that told me when he was in high school, he and his friends would drive through the parking lots at bars and steal coolers so they could get beer. I guess they hit the same guy a couple of times cause one night they had a few coolers they had stolen and when they finally stopped to see what all they had gotten, they opened one cooler and it was half full of live rattlesnakes. I guess that guy was tired of replacing coolers.

I live by the rule never let it out of your site and carry a 38 special. With all the drugs on the street these days you never know what people will do or what you will run into.

I was at BPS getting a few essentials for the weekend. When I was at the check out stand... the clerk ask me if I was restocking. I told her what happended and she said I was the second person in the last 10 days that this had happended to. Watch your stuff boys... this won't be the last time this happens.

It will be the last time when one of these SOB's meets a Texan with a CC permit. :-)
