Bree and I are leaving austin sat. 5:00 am. Going to have to tell myself I'm going fishing to get going that early.

What time do the races start? Also, can you pay to visit the pit area to look at the boats? Think I am gonna load my son up and come on down to see the action.

Starts aroung 11 am, there is no charge but the off road park will be charging cars that come in to use there beach. come you will see some of the fastes outboards any where. I'm leaving Austin now minus the boat..girl friends sick so we'er sticking to the beach.

WOW... what a great time down there.

my boat was about 4th or 5th fastest in our class.

we ran 90 at the 1/8th mile with a 22p drag prop i tuned. that aint bad for a stock 260.

in this pic we outran a 2002 ally with a modified motor. he was running a 24p drag prop (my favorite i let him use)

i bought some 7 pedal reeds last night and a trim computer,etc. now i'm thinking we r gonna run super gas rules, which only adds 50 pounds. idk wat we r gonna do now???

Might be a good idea cost wise. 50 lbs is still 50 lbs. though. Don't sound to bad if ya say it real fast. But still better tha tha 100. Stay in touch......

We're gonna have a "Test & Tune" session at Joe Pool and invite the local jet boat guys out for another round of fun. I'll post the date soon (gotta give Joe time to get the Bullet running).

the fast jet boat was BAAAD... but he kept staging basically "on plane" at 20mph. eggbeaters stage at 7 to 8mph at an idle. they just couldn't get lined up so the jet just went to the bank.

Eric took home the title!! and on c16 gas not the normal stuff he runs. that boat of eric's is FAST!!!!!!!
