...........Grapevine Bankfest Sat. Jan 28th 9am- 4pm - OakGrove Park Areas............
$20 per man - 2 pots ($10 per): Big Fish Pot(Catfish) and 3 Fish Stringer(Catfish) Pot - If we have 15 or less paid participants it'll be winner take all per pot -- if we have 16 or more each pot will pay 1st/2nd...OakGrove Park (from sandbass pt all way around to boat ramp area by softball feilds-McPherson slough maybe?-) Unlimited Rods.....Must have valid fishing license and follow TPWD rules...Bait launchers, balloons, kites permitted, .......All fish must be caught/landed from the bank.
Individual entrants not team or partner. Kids 16 and under(I really wanted to say 12 or 13 (geared towards ppl with kids 8-12 or so).....) can partner with parent or gaurdian no charge.....if anyone thinks this gives an unfair advantage they have obviously never taken kids fishin....anyone old enough to have fishing license (17 n up) must pay.....
All fish to be weighed by me- with atleast one witness- scale may be lil off but if all fish are weighed on same scale it's fair- if u catch a biggun 2 hrs in bring it to me to be weighed and recorded then u can release it -- it will count as part of your stringer also....this is one of the reasons I limit it to Oak Grove Park area (it has several miles of shoreline) the other is this is as much of a meet n greet as anything bring your grills/coolers (alcohol not permitted in park per Grapevine)and meet fellow TFF members and grill, socialize and fish......
Get there early to scout an area, chum, whatever but u must find me at sandbass point and sign in and pay between 8:30- 9 am...lines in water at 9 am......Lets keep it fun and safe.....Anyone caught cheating will be roughed up and tossed in the lake- Anyone causing problems,acting up or being an idiot will be roughed up and tossed in the Lake.
These are the rules/guidlines...if u don't like them don't participate....Rules can be altered/changed by me.....
One single fish has won both pots 2/3 times.....so anyone could win.......
Also there should be a fellar participating who sells ProAngler and services/repairs reels..
