The Chandler ramp is out forever Private property now. The Kickapoo ramp is still out of the water and will be until the lake is just 2' low and then only by small boats. If you have a 4X4 then you can use Westberry (Russells Landing) just drive out to the river and drop in there. Villages is the most dependable on that end of the lake. I may be wrong but I believe there are only 3 working ramps right now.. Deep end is at the dam, Lake Palestine Resort cross the 3rd bridge from Tyler and turn right, and the Villages take 2661 to Bid Eddy Rd and Ramp is at the end of the road on the left. Good luck to all fishing this weekend and take it slow out there while the lake is up and it is easier now to navigate there are still some mean ole stumps out there looking to do damage.

Good luck to those of you launching at Ledbetter - take your time as there is a drop-off at the end of the ramp. If you have a 19'+ boat/ trailer, you will probably have to go off the end to launch, so 4wd may be necessary.

don't forget your push poles smile It honestly looks like there should be a DD laying next to every stump up there!

To All,
Lake P is still 4' low.....big lake is FAIRLY safe, you should see most of whats there....After that it should be idle speed.
Last weekend I saw a 250 Yamaha with a 2 blade prop and shaft that resembled a question mark.

THE BIG HOGS will be watching you!!!!!

We're looking for a couple more co-angles to even the field. (which is odd considing we're usually heavy co-anglers in this division ... and the winning co-angler at Regionals get a brand new Triton boat). If you're interested, contact me. We will waive late fees!!!

If you're launching at the Villages, you better get there before everyone else! That parking lot has been absolutely packed/overflowing on normal days.

Ya'll can park at my place for $5, though. I'm less than a mile from the marina and I'll even shuttle you back and forth when needed. laugh

Just down the road from the marina on 1261. I was mistaken on the distance, though. Google maps says it is exactly 1.0 miles from my house to the ramp. wink I was kidding on the parking, though. I could accommodate a couple truck/trailers, but that would be it.
