Go to bassresource.com. In the "Central" forum section there is a huge thread on Toledo Bend. Tons of recent info there and a lot of old info (waypoints included) that may help. Good luck on your trip.

Was there a couple of weeks ago north of the bridge, off 1215 on the Louisiana side. Fishing was great, just idle unless you happen to have a spare lower unit laying around. We used 1215 as a boat ramp in 4 wheel drive since the ramp was setting high & dry! Good Luck!

Lake has came up more than 2 feet in the last 2 weeks, so the lake is in much better shape than in December. Currently running at 162.5

North of Pendelton, run in the river channel only until lake gets to about 164. South of the bridge nearly all north South lanes are good to run, east west lanes are another story. Be careful around the 6mile area, there are lots of missing buoys in the n/s boat lane between housen and 6mile... also 6mile boat lane is missing several.

Now to the fishing.... Last weekend was brutally cold, and most of the fish where on drops, ridges, and mainlake points anywhere from 15-25 feet, C-rig and Jigs. Caught a few fish shallow in the 10-15 range on traps. With these next few days of 70+ degree weather we are going to have, i would expect a good population of the fish to get in the grass and feed a little heavier.

hope this helps.
