Have you ever found a prime spot and soon had envaders and used a nice new rattle trap for protection ? A few years ago on fork day after full moon in march my partner and I were having a day of dreams on fork hammering slots and a couple overs. We had worked way back into the jungle fork had water it opened up into a spawning flat and we started killing them. Two boats in the same cove ( white oak) just started crashing thu the timber and started casting to the open pocket. There boats were sitting directly over were we were getting most of our fish. My partner proceded to tie on a nice new 1/2 oz rattle trap and have taget practice. It did not take long for our new found friends to disperse. Just wish a fishing ethics class was required for buying a fishing boat. Just wondering of similar experiences not really much of a post just cabin fever from getting ready for falcon feb 6 th can't wait lol.

A lot of bent rob fishing these days. Thats why you rarely get the good reports about rayburn and such. Just never know when a bent rod guru is lurkin on here to find somebody to follow. You gonna likely get the whole it aint "your" whole speech that usually ensues.

Out of all the lakes I have fished I have to say the one that is the worst as far as people fishing the bent rod pattern is Lake Tyler. If someone wins a tournament one weekend, then the whole next week any location the winning boat was seen on will have boats all over it.
