The crappie in the creeks are just beginning to bite again after the muddy water filled them a while ago on Lake Livingston.

Monday I took out Pete, Mark, and Haley for some fishing.
The fishing was slow, but these guys stuck with me and they ended up with 14 very nice crappie, mostly 13"+ fish.


Today I went with a left over bag of minnows from Monday's trip and I only a couple of hours to fish.
The fishing was much better and the water much clearer.
I caught 11 nice keepers, mostly 12" to 13" long and about 15 small fish between 9:00 and noon.
I caught a small grinnel in full spawning colors very early before I found the crappie.
