Some time ago someone posted that he was trying to start a school club and now i can not find that post. I believe he was from some where south of DALLAS.I need to contact him as i want to form a culb in my school system. Thank you guys for your help. normansanders54@live.com

Go online to www.highschoolfishing.org You can get all the info needed to get a club started. You will need to get permission from the school as well. I just got the OK yesterday from our superintendent at Bullard ISD to get one started for next year. Good Luck.

It will be with the sulphur Springs Tx. ISD I hope to be started by early spring.

Check out http://fishingstudents.com/. This is a non-profit that organizes school clubs for kids from middle school through college. It's multi-species and does not require kids to fish from a boat. So far it has more than 2,000 kids in chapters across Texas. The high school state championship tournament will be held in June on Lake Athens in cooperation with the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center.
