I have a All Star rod I bought probably over ten years ago.
At the time it was the top line of their rods and was quite expensive (for the time).
It really needs to have all the eyes replaced.
How old do you guys think a rod that hasnt been taken paticularily good care of is worth putting more money into.
Dont think it has been stepped on too many times but who knows for sure.

I actually went out and purchased the tools and materials to fix them myself. It's not hard to do and will save you a lot of money in the future if you have to fix eyelets frequently like I do. I have a small boat and seem to step on the eyelets quite a bit. But, an older rod may not be worth it since it may become somewhat brittle over the years.
