For jigs

Worms both Craig and Texas

Deep cranks

Lipless cranks & med/shallow cranks

Spinners

Topwater

I'm just really getting confused now days on what type of line to use and when. It sure was simpler when all there was was mono.

Mono for all listed. I use braid for Carolina rigs, frogs, and Alabama rigs.

I don't touch fluorocarbon; I hate that shtuff.

Fluorocarbon for everything except top-water baits. Might use some braid if in heavy cover.

When there's money in the bank, Fluoro for everything except topwaters and super heavy cover stuff. When I gotta be frugal, mono. Recently its been mono lol

Big game. I don't get the whole flourocarbon thing unless you are in clearer water. Just adds cost and gives less knot strenght.

Braid for frogs. Do not fish a jig.

I use mostly floro, but for heavy cover I use braid and sometimes use mono for spinnerbaits

Flourocarbon- jigs, TX-rigs, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, weightless soft plastics
Mono- top water, some crankbaits
Braid- flipping, frogs

At least that's what's been working for me...

This is just the way I do it. It's always a debatable topic. Everyone does something different. This is just what I use for my confidence factor and familiarity.

Fluoro for everything except top water. I do use braid on C-rigs with a fluoro leader and for frogs.

I thought a friend of mine made an astute remark...they tell us to use floro because it's invisable yet the A-Rig shows a lot of wire ahead of the baits. If they bit that it would seem to make the 'invisability' of floro insignificant.
