and so far it is great. I have already added Blue Water LED's up front for the green and red running light's. Had the lights for a week before I got the courage up to cut that new rub rail but I think it turned out real nice.

Not hard probably overall takes 2 hours if your being careful, a razor knife and black silicone. When I got the slot cut out to the size I wanted I drilled straight thru and tied into the light wires already in place.

Those lights look sharp.

Nice! Only problem on those lights is the location. They are going to take a beating there, that's why you have a rub rail. Looks nice though.

Pretty boat, at the Mcdonalds on fork this year I saw a boat that was running those LED's all the way down the rub rail. That thing was sure bright.

Nice rig

I've had the nav lights in the rub rail since early August and fish places with lots of nasty trees. I'm not one to shy away from a tough spot and I've had no damage to the lights in the rub rail.

Yes I did. The hardest part is getting the nerve to actually make the first cut. Theres really nothing to it. Just cut it real tight and trim it a little at a time till you get the fit you want.

Man I hate to be the first one to bring this up, because I personally disagree with it and I think those LEDS are extremely cool, but....after a long running discussion last year on BBC which involved a lot of folks including the guy from Blue Water, the concensus was that those don't meet USCG criteria.

Now with that being said, I've never heard of anyone actually being ticketed for running those. But technically you could get into trouble.

no they can not, you must still use your pole light. They are Sweet though and I would put them in my rub rail except mine is rope
