I recently caught my first carp over the christmas break and now I'm hooked. I was wondering if anyone thats going carp fishing on LBL this weekend mind if I tagged along. I've read many things online about it but nothing beats hands on experience. I have my own fishing pole and tackle too so that wont be a problem.

we are having a fish in / informal tournament out at Decker lake on Saturday if you want to come hang out. There will be lots of different set ups and rigs to see plus lots of people willing to show you the ropes

How far away is the lake from the UT campus? I don't have a car and I'm still unfamiliar with the bus system here haha.

it is pretty far and not sure if busses run out there. It is near the expo center off MLK/183

Yeah, I'll probably not be able to make it out there then. Looks like its LBL this weekend for me.

PM Atxwheeler, I know he is planning on fishing the event, perhaps ya'll can get down on some carpooling. I will be working so unable to fish it, but if you would like to experience using a Euro setup I can send my kit with him for you to try out. Let me know what ya'll work out.
