I got a used MG TM. I plan to put it on the bow of a 12' fiberglass jonboat.

48" shaft (planning on shortening that)
FW-HP 54
12v
hand control

I don't have a clue as to what kind of mount to get.

When I google motorguide FW-HP54 nothing helps.

Here are some pictures. Thanks yall.

Thanks,I like many of you cannot buy all new stuff so I try to help people with good answers with minimal costs when I can. Thats why most people ask for help here. After all anyone can find new expensive parts to buy! thumb

Maybe the pics, but that mount don't look right. Looks like it has arms up top instead of a solid upper arm. I would ask for some better pics.

I can take more pictures. I'm buying a MG gator mount tomorrow for $100. I'm sure I can get my money back if needed.

Thanks for the help gang.

I'm talking about the Gator Mount that was in the link. Is that the one you're buying?

I haven't seen pictures of the mount that I'm buying sir.

My used TM (that I've yet to find details on the web) is 56" OAL with a 48" shaft.

IMO, my TM looks like a damn pontoon TM. Looks similar to a newer V55HP I reckon. Hard to tell.
