Last day of deer season, you know im going to have a rifle in my hand...

Waited to post the report till i got the buck scored because i know thats the first thing people ask lol

My original plan was to make a video of the hunt but the important shooting the deer happend too fast to record

We drove around for a while, i passed on a lot of quality bucks looking for a solid one....

its 11:49 and we were at a split road

Dad: which road
*starts driving left road*
Me: not the other one
Dad: it goes to a dead end...
Me: just trust me i feel it in my nikes!

I had to wear my running shoes because i was so tired from fishing i forgot to pack my boots

so he reversed and headed down the road

Me: its 11:49..by 11:59 imma drop a nice buck
Dad: Hahahhaa

we hit the dead end like he said and turned around

there it was a SOLID 8 point buck

loaded a shell while i swung the door open and took a quick shot and down he goes....



looked at the clock...11:57

Pic does no justice to how tall he was, scored a 145 about the 3rd biggest management in kineno club history...

We only had a management tag that lets us take a 8 point over 5 years old so you have to choose carefully what you shoot..

If i had the trophy like we usually do i would have dropped a monster, counted 16 points before he spooked

all in all a good hunt..
