Put in this morning at 9:00 AM with a light southeasterly breeze and water temperatures holding at 53 degrees and stained with the air temperature at 47 degrees and on the raise. When to a main lake bend in the river that has been producing a good number of White Bass over the past week. Did not see any bird action but was marking fish holding tight to the bottom. Went with a silver ½ oz. slab to begin with and started catching fish right away. Fished until 1:00 PM before calling it quits for the day, but not before putting 15 small White Bass in the boat. Not a great day but still a lot of fun. Care is still needed when on the lake due to the continued low water conditions. The lake is at 16.80 low.
