Twok can be a great lake but it will humble you in a hurry!! Took my nephew and three of his soccer buddy's out today. You would think a guy could find four fish for some ten year olds but know what?? I couldn't today!! Had a great day with my brother, nephew and his friends but could only find three cotton pickin eaters!! That's all I have to say about that!!

Tom,
Monday was a ZIP day, not impossible, but makes it really Tuff.
Tues/Wed are BFT (Buffet) which are also hidden YC (YellowCat) days.
Lots of ZIP days following until Mon/Tues (23/24) which are 2 BC (BlueCat) Days.

Yes, it did kick our butts, but the boys had fun. It's always great to get out with your big bro and at least try to put the whoop on them. Two of the four boys were asleep before we got to Wills Pointe. The "birthday boy" caught two and the one other boy caught his personal best, so it wasn't a total bust. The best part was being on the lake with family and friends and seeing four boys spend a whole day without some kind of eloctronic do dad in their hands, unless you count the fish finder that is.

It happens to everyone. heck, we've fished with grown men who threw a complete temper tantrum - proclaimed they hated fishing - hated other fishermen and all kinds of negative stuff just because the fish weren't biting. Even though you all didn't bust much or any big ones, i bet those boys had a good time, sincerely appreciated you taking them out and look forward to doing it again!

I've been doing ok at grapevine went out monday and had 4-5 good hits and a blue of about 2.5lbs- only fish to show. took a guy to work out telling him how great the fishing has been. Hmmm next time
