The news is reporting a man believed to be in his 50's has drowned on lake Palestine from a capsized boat. His wife was pulled from the water and is being treated for hypothermia. This is very tragic. Prayers sent

Probably a heart attack combined with or due to hypothermia.
Very sad.

Life vest or not,you have to get out of that water because of hypothermia. He could have had the boat hit him when it capsized and knocked him out,the shock of cold water could have triggered a heart attack. We could guess all day.Be careful.

prayer sent... Just generally speaking, do not underestimate the power of nature. More often then not, by the time you know its power, it's too late.. Sometimes lifejacket is not enough...

Also drive safely, do not grant anything. Be aware of your surroundings... Manytimes, it has nothihng to do with you for cause of an accident.

Our prayers are with the family in this tragic accident.

And, I hope we see the cause of or facts leading up to the accident, as that information may help other fishermen prevent future similar events.
