I removed a 1988 Yamaha Pro V 150 from my boat and replaced it with a 1990 Yamaha Pro V 150. The tachometer and tilt/trim gauge will not work with the 1990 model motor. All the wiring matched up.

Does the 1990 require digital gauges? The boat it came off of had digital gauges and my boat does not.

Does the 1990 require digital gauges? Yes. Would be best to change the complete control and wiring harness w/gauges.

What about the oil reservoir, Should I change that also?

Pulled the gauges, harness and oil tank out of skeeter today. Didn't get a chance to install it on other boat yet.

It works. I did have to change wiring harness. Thanks again for the help.
