gotta love it, 30lbs and you split 600 bucks.

im sure it dont cost 300 a piece and they broke even or came out a little on top.

It's gambling your probably gonna lose more than you win in the long run. But we do it cause we love it.

entry fee plus a 1 time membership fee, gas, food and lodging splitting 600 doesnt go as far as u think.... Its always nice to win something though!

If you drove from the Metroplex, 600 dollars was gas and entry fee. All the membership, lodging and associated costs were extra.

But for a 30 pound sack and some competitive fishing its a win.

A lot of those folks that "got a check" still lost money. Of course not as much as those that didn't get anything. Drive to falcon from very far and you could lose money even getting a top ten.

That's what I've been saying. Save that $600 twice = $1200 and we go to Mexico for a week.

90 percent of tournament fisherman are loosing money, I don't care what tournament circuit you fish. I you fish tournaments to make money then you better be very good and have some sponsors.

My goal with tournaments is just to pay for my expenses. Making money is a tough thing to do. I won big bass one hour in Mcdonalds this year for $1,000. After paying for our trip and entry fees I didn't make a dime but I had a blast for free.
