Actually, my uncle had an encounter many years ago northwest of where Lake Limestone is now. He did not see it, but smelled it, heard it, and he said it was one of the eeriest things he ever encountered. He & his 2nd wife were camping beside a private small lake or sleugh. He said the screech type sound was so scary, it raised the hair on the back of his neck. The smell was awful, very foul as if somebody had not taken a bath for months. He said the air wreaked for awhile.
I also know one Bigfoot investigator, as I met him in the summer of 2000. I know he has at least one book out on Bigfoot/Sasquatch.
Out here, in our area, we have had a Black Panther. Some have seen it. I have heard it off & on over the years since moving out here between the Navasota River & Cedar Creek bottoms in 1994. I have also seen its tracks. It ain't no little kitty, that's for sure. My sister & late brother-in-law have seen it separately, as well as two friends. And yet, it has still eluded getting caught or killed, but does exist. I am sure it has adapted & realizes it best to stay away from man in order to preserve itself. I am sure the same goes for any Bigfoot/Saskquatch.
Just curious....anyone seen bigfoot while fishing?
Most of those stories have turned out just to be Toon.

The show on Animal Planet lost me when I watched their new season premiere. It was a lot of built up drama about absolutely nothing.
As many reports of sightings over the years by people who are not hysterical or likely to confuse it with a bear, they probably do exist. If they do exist, they mean no harm to us. They really want to stay away from humans. Let them be and leave them alone. If they really want to make contact with humans, they will.

Why have we not found a carcass? When they die do they spontaniously combust? Where do they go for lovin? Reason I ask is wouldnt they pretty much be extinct since they are basically invisable? There wouldnt be new ones being born.

Finding dead carcasses is not common with most animals. People seldom, if ever, find dead bears or mountain lions.
Someone did a study on this, I was a show about it on tv. They found that deer carcasses usually are decomposed and dispersed within 30-40 days.

Seriously though, as many people as there are trying to figure out the bigfoot mystery, I'm amazed that the savage fools haven't solved the riddle! It's so obvious!
Okay. I'll spill it and I'm only gonna say this once so The Bunker crowd needs to copy and paste or click "notify" and make this a watched thread.
Bigfoot sightings are nothing more than wookies. The reason nobody ever finds one is that they jump back into their UFOs and fly back to Kashyyyk. The only human on Earth who ever has or will actually meet one is George Lucas.
What? You thought he made all that stuff up? I mean, he's good but nobody's THAT good!
If you see a "bigfoot", don't shoot at it for Pete's sake! Them surly sonsa*****es will shoot back and they have blasters and and bowcasters and whatnot.
Really, with all the nerdsgeeksdorks computery types on the internet it's amazing that nobody else has pieced this together!
Once again I do not believe Bigfoot exists in rural east texas... Because if he did my kinfolk would have either married it or killed and eaten it by now...
i thought one was at bridgeport one night.had the boat tied up crappie fishing.heard the worst sounds and the smell was very bad.turns out it was only my fishing partner.
