Fished today from Chisholm Trail to Cedar Creek.

Water was murky up north. Left and went up to Cedar Creek water looked good. On the way back we stopped between Red Bluff and Lake Side and the water didn't look right. Had the infamous tea color and saw several dead gar and one carp. No bait fish though. Talked to another gentleman and he said the pockets in that area were full of gar up shallow. Could this be the start?

Hope not. I fished today also but I was down lake saw no signs in cedron or king creek. Hooked 5 landed 5, won the tourn. Good way to start the year!

But rather skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy carp what a ride!"

Hope not maybe the rain helps out some, I know this year could be prime for a bad one with the water low, however its has been a mild winter so far which is good, the quicker the lake warms up the less chance of a bloom.
