What kind of knot is best for tying off your jig when you finish with the wraps?

Half hitch works for me. Or use a whip finish tool to make quick work of it.

Lots of guys use the whip finish tool.Ive always use 3-4 half hitches by hand.Much better control, tightness, and knot placement for me.

Any of the above... I also like to put some head cement on the knot after tying. Just a little insurance!!!

I usually put two good half hitches by hand, then use the whip finisher...and a dab of head cement, or use a toothpick, and put some thin CA (super glue) on the knot.
