Not a whole lot to report. Did not boat a fish. Steady WSW breeze at 15+ or so, bluebird clear, water temps started just around 44-45 and climbed to a whopping 46-47 by 3pm. I think we ran the 55# trolling motor wide open for most of the mid-day.
Some bait was still being eatin by birds, but we had no action on spinners, traps, or chatter baits. Tossed alot of various plastics and found minimal activity, but very, very subtle and short hits. The wind coupled with the short subtle strikes made feeling them and hooking up a challenge. Both of us missed a few strikes we shoulda had, but we didn't have all that many.
