Guide Jason Anderson Extreme Angler Registered: 03/03/05 Posts: 2250 Loc: Allen TX/ Cedar Creek Lake	Well my first time to winter fish on Lake Lavon. Had a late start and got on the water around 2pm and called it a day at 5pm.I have always heard to go fish at the dam so I did. Marked lots of fish in 25 to 28ft of water but only caught 2 sand bass. So went looking for some brush and found a nice pile in 16 to 18ft. Dropped two poles with minnows and one pole with a chart and black jig. I never left that spot the rest of the day. It was not fast but would pull a hog up now and then. Ended with a nice cooler of fish. The jig out fished the minnows. All the fish had a big egg sack. You could not ask for a better day on the water.
