Yeah Shaun and I didn't do much better. I caught one lmb early and Shaun went out to the birds and tore up the white bass at one point in there... It was slow otherwise... Nice sunny winter day with little wind though ... Nice meeting you Pelican...

I got skunked last weekend. It was the first time I had been skunked since, well, last winter.

Winter fishing, in my experience, is always tough.

I don't know about you guys, but I can't wait until next month. The pre-spawn will be upon us soon enough.

Hey Pelican it was great to have met you out there yesterday. I hope we get a chance to fish together this year.

That was a brutal day. I got so tired of the slow LMB fishing I had to see if I could catch anything. I still consider it a successful day none the less. I really enjoyed G'vine's landscape. That shoreline is certainly something to be seen. God really did good on that one. I got out of the house, got to see a cool lake, the weather was great, had a good friend to fish with, and I got to meet a new kayak fisherman... All and all a great day. wink
