Talk to me about power plant fishing?

I hear the term but don't really understand the draw to a lake with a power plant on it.

U get to do early april fishin in january. The fish are more active all year so the growth rate is faster than other lakes also

It's warm water year around and on normal years they usually spawn in late December to march even. People fish them during those months because generally fish are bigger when they spawn and the fish are easier to catch then in a cold water lake. It gives an angler 2 spawns in one year. This year is an exception most water temps are low 50s so fishing has not been as tough on cold water lakes. Warm water lakes right now are a little behind since it has been so hot. The draw to it is water temps compared to a cold lake this time of year.
