I am trying to find some spots to go fishing in my free time at A&M. Does anybody know about Fin-Feather Lake? Just found it today while driving around. Any help is appreciated Thanks.

I fished fin Feather lake a ton the year I lived in college station. railroad workers will tell you you're not allowed to fish it, but they wont do anything about it. There is a strong population of bass in that lake, but years ago there were some factory malfunctions and there is Arsenic and Mercury poisoning which stunts fish's growth, so you wont catch anything over, say, two pounds. and also DO NOT EAT THEM!

I fished George Bush presidential Library a lot too but never even got bit there.

They stock trout in Central park Pond 1, but make sure you have your license, they will check and give you a ticket.

I know I've seen a few posts about other places in College station that have great bass fishing (search it on the forum you'll find 'em eventually) Good luck!
