Daves always wanting me to take him crappie fishing and i refuse to do it. I said lets go catch big fish. Needless to say he latched into one. he usaully bank fishes with zebcos. i would have paid anything to have a video. We were in 44 feet of water deadsticking a gulp glow sassy shad on a 5/8 once jighead. i guess ole joe read outgunned us with the 18.5. i dont remember last year at this time alot of really big fish being caught. does anybody remember. I just hope everybody would release these big ones back. we did.

Nice fish for sure. I've caught many 15 lb range stripers and I think they fight harder on average, than a lot of the bigger stripes. They are in the prime of their lives at that weight.
