Congratulations Joe! Amazing fish. Also great article in the paper Sunday. I posted about the article on the Forum also. Something occurred to me just now. We all know how a Hybrid is created. I wonder what would happen if someone rented you and Matt and went out with both of you together in the same boat? Now that would be an experiment I'd like to make! May have to run that by Todd, Terry, Jackson, Mike etc... That would be a once in a lifetime deal...

Hey Frank I'm always looking to go fishing! and I probably have known Matt longer than most of you...I knew him before he started guiding from bass tournments and seeing him on the lake...he comes from a very good family I know his dad also...I've seen Matt grow from a boy to a man!...from a fisherman to a superstar!...Matts a very fine man!!

Just don't tell him...his head will swell!!

Joe I agree 100%. In fishing with him found out my wife's cousin taught Matt in school in Wills Point I think it was. Was her cousin's first teaching job. You may know her cousin- Casey Kindle. He has put me on a ton of fish down there over the past 25+ years. Now I'm dating myself. Seriously would love to fish with you both some time- that would be amazing. I'll figure this one out with the boys up here on Hubbard and set it up.

Todd I wish I had an egg roll for every time you made me laugh! BTW one night up at the funeral we ordered about 30-orders of Chinese take out. I thought about you. The egg rolls were like small logs! Have never seen ones that big...

Just wanted you all to re-Read this rolfmao

Joe gave me some of my very first guide trips for hybrid and stripes. That was back in the early 90's when I used to think I was a bass fisherman. I'll never forget Joe asking me to help him out the first time. We were standing in the Minnow Bucket over at lake Fork and I told him I've never guided for hybrid before, what do you do? I wasn't even 20 years old. He looked at me funny and said "You just take 'em fishing." Thats how I got my start. banana

This week has been tougher than last week but still managing to catch a good mess of fish...chartruse soft plastics on a 1oz jig head drifting very slow...IF POSSABLE...20 to 30 feet deep in water 30 feet and deeper...mostly deeper.

John and his Dad on Wednesday it was slow but a steady slow we did manage 20 to 30 fish and one 10 lb striper that we released!

Thursday had out first time customers brothers Ed and Jerry still not a great day but it was windy all morning...the wind slowed down in the afternoon and we really started catching fish but a round 1:00 pm Ed decided they better get on the road he had a 6 hour drive.

Today was brutal the wind blew and then it blew some more...drifting way to fast and could not fish many spots...we still managed to catch a good box of fish and this 13.2 Beauty!!
sorry about the hazy pic had fish slime on my phone.
