Got the call from Texas Parks and Wildlife today! My sons fish has been certified as State Junior Angler Record Blue Catfish and State Junior Angler Catch and Release Blue Catfish among others.

They said they had seven record certificates in total they were dropping in the mail today.

I cannot wait to break the news to him this afternoon!

I got the Bryan-College Eagle Sports section (Thursday January 5th) that has a write-up on your son's pending records. Will mail it to you in about a week, happen to get 2 copies that day, as I got one at home while getting another one while in the hospital. Not sure which wait you are referring to. Took us about 10 minutes to land it, 45 before it bit, about three weeks to get the records in the mail.
