A friend and I decided to head to Monti yesterday (1/12/12), despite the cold and VERY windy conditons. Thanks to the Power Pole, we were able to fish some windy banks and catch some good ones. Between us we caught 10 ranging from 2 lbs to 4 lbs. Sorry, no pics. Too busy fighting the wind!

Are the fish on beds on Monti. I realize that the front probably knocked some of them off. I'm just trying to get an idea of what lake to spend my three day weekend on.

Sorry, Could not resist. To answer your question I have heard that there are fish on beds as well as pre and a few post spawners. Fishing is still hit or miss but def better then most places around here.

It was WAY to windy to see fish on beds yesterday. I was there last week though and saw quite a few bass cruising around in very shallow water.
