Has anyone ever fished there? How's the fishing?

The last report from Lewisville was from last year, December 31st and that report was from me! Guess I caught them all.

LL can turn into the dead sea during the winter. It's not a great lake for the striped fish in the winter.

Gonna show us all them shad you net up in freezing weather again?

Ha! I don't bother with that. I need what freezer space I have for the deer meat and the catfish that I catch with all those shad. But don't tell anyone I fish for catfish, it's kinda a secret

We did alright this past weekend at Lewisville. Got a few Hybrids, all under size but still had fun. Sandies were biting as well. Not sure how many we ended up with but we only stayed for a few hours and stayed in one spot. We were dead sticking slabs with a fly tied above it and on the fly we put a Berkley Gulp Minnow to give a little stink which seemed to help a little bit.

There are no crappie in LL.
