Here is the video I made using my 2 GoPro Hero2 mini cams. My first attempt at using Final Cut Pro X ediing. Takes a lot of time but u kinda get the feel of our trip. Gonna post this on the TFF Video contest under Photos/Videos, so if ya like the vid vote for it Thanks and enjoy, notice the last frames my scale going over board by Ryan, classic reaction LOL! I can help with any info on the GoPro Cams, It took a lot of awareness heck I even made Ryan net his own 11lber The underwater footage was tough cause Falcon isn't clear enough. And here is a little taste of Falcon, my first but definitely not last trip!

Ok I have gotten alot of questions and pm's about my cameras, accessories and what not. First off I have 2 of the motorsports edition GoPro Hero2 (bought em discounted at TW during the sales). The mounts I used were sold by Eye of Mine (they carry everything you could possibly need for these cams), and the suction cup mount and 3m sticky tape mounts came with the motorsports edition cameras.
You will need the battery pac and extra batteries. You will also need the cigarette lighter plug to charge the batteries while using the other, this allows you to not run out cause you will. I didnt find the LCD screen helped much but one time in setting them up, then you know which angle they shoot but the wide lens you catch alot anyway. Guess it was nice to have though.
I will post links to the mounts I used below. For the water line and underwater shots I have the flat lens housing (research it and you will see it look better when underwater). I used a GoPole for the water shots and it allows you to do all kinds of different stuff. I also have a floaty on my cases just in case you drop em they will float. I used the suction cup mount on the windshield and on the bow mostly. The roll bar mount on the back pedestal provided the best full view though.
You have to really try and make an effort when using them, heck Ryan netted his own fish, who cares if it was an 11.11 lol. They are not hard at all to use. As far as the video being 720p or 1080, I am still trying all that stuff out, you will notice the complete shots were 1080, and the block looking shots were 720p. You will need to film in 60fps for the better slow mo- all this will make sense when you play with em.
One advice I got from a buddy, when you catch a fish, stop the video and start over with new section so you kow all the fish catches are at the end of videos. That made it a whole lot easier editing.
You will need some 16 or 32 gig SDHC cards. Watch ebay for cheapest prices. Hope this helps and if anyone has any pointers that have used them I would be interested, I am still learning as well.
Great Video. Looks very professional and I can tell you spent some time learning Final Cut X. I'll be filming myself at Falcon next month and may need to buy a Go Pro for some of the underwater shots. Thanks for sharing.

There was one morning it was colder and rough as Ryan alluded too. The first morning we were in shorts by 9 oclock. The weather is definitely warmer than east tx. We got lucky and only dealt with the wind one day, and we made a long run in it, notice the front depth finder, and I am fixing the 1197- that lake dont play in the wind. To answer your question, yes the weather was kinda different everyday.

What country are y'all in? This is all I get when I click the link.
Youtube and UMG got in a fight, I will have to change the audio, wish I could ban youtube! I will get it back up in a new post when I get a chance to change the audio.
