haven't been to grapevine in awhile an heard the small mouth bite is on an i have never caught a small mouth before so any tips will be thanked

I went out there about a month ago with the same quest. Only caught one, but it was a keeper smallmouth, slow rolling a white spinnerbait with two big colorado blades on it. Look for rocks, biggest ones you can find under water.

I have caught two out of there in consecutive weeks. Caught one on a square bill off some rocky points, and the other off a white spook...also off a rocky point. I know that doesnt help much, but that's what I got em on

I think a guy on here caught a lake record on G'vine during the TFF tourney in Dec, maybe he will chime in with some help.
