Cedar Creek has been on the rise lately with our recent rains. I haven’t looked at the official report but it looks like were about 6ft low now. Water temp lately has been in the low 50’s which has made for some good fishing. My last trip I cleaned 62 crappie and 21 white bass. We could have kept more whites but my group really just wanted crappie. All the crappie were caught on slab bandits and the whites have been coming on slabs. The white bass bite has been pretty consistent also. Here are a few pics of what we’ve been catching lately.

62 crappie plus another 21 white bass in the cooler

29lb flathead caught on a jig and 6lb line

Here’s another 29lb blue caught on a jig too

We are also booking some spring trips already so call soon to guarantee availability.

chuck must have reeled most of the fish in, because everybody else was either playing with cameras, cell phones or eating. rolfmao

Lanes is on his honeymoon, the poor guy, it's all down hill now. Washing the boat isn't nearly as much fun this time of year but it certainly needed a bath in that picture. Normally it gets washed after every trip but here lately we've been slacking off.

I haven't heard of other ramps being open but I bet Fishermans Wharf is ok to use now.
